Back once again and still an absolute bargain, here's the Jet JS300 Electric Guitar in White. This is all the guitar that a lot of us would ever need, with a roasted maple neck and killer pick ups. This thing kills, don't miss it!

With a lightweight and resonant Basswood body, combined with a Roasted Canadian Maple neck / fretboard, the Jet JS-300 gets off to a very good start. This guitar really has looks to die for, with a rich gloss finish showing off the Olympic White body and Roasted neck to full effect. Aged plastic knobs and pickup covers give it a vintage look which complements the caramel hue of the neck and multi-ply Parchment pickguard.

In terms of playing ergonomics, the JS-300 is immediately comfortable for the modern guitarist, coming with a Modern “C”-shaped neck profile and 9.5” radius fretboard. Jet have gone to extra lengths to improve playing comfort, with an extra contour added to the lower body cutaway to ease upper-fret action.

In terms of hardware, a vintage-style synchonised tremolo has been fitted, along with chrome closed-gear tuners. The bone nut ensures that all vibrations from the strings are transferred to the three ceramic single-coil pickups. These are controlled via the classic volume / 2 x tone knobs and 5-way switch layout.

The Jet JS-300 in Olympic White is the ideal starter guitar, significantly outshooting its price bracket in terms of features and specs. It’ll also appeal to seasoned guitarists and “tweakers” looking for an instrument to tinker with and mod at very little cost. A winner all around.
