An immaculate, boxed example of the superb Animals Pedals Tioga Road Cycling Distortion. It's based on a Rat circuit, and has a bear on the front. Nuff said.
Hailing from Japan, Animals Pedals boast some of the quirkiest effects in the business! Featuring custom illustrated graphics and some truly memorable product names, the Animals Pedals range has something for everyone. Better still, Animals Pedals are solidly built using quality components, all the while remaining at a price point that is accessible to the average musician.
The Animals Pedals Tioga Road Cycling Distortion is a high octane distortion inspired by the famous “rodent” pedal from the mid ‘80s! With three different clipping modes on tap, Symmetrical Clipping, Clipping Bypass and Asymmetric Clipping, the “TRCD” serves up a host of vintage and modern tones with different textures and frequency-responses.
Co-designed by Animals Pedals and boutique builders Wren & Cuff, the TRCD features controls for Volume, Distortion and Tone, making it easy to dial in a great sound. From a classic distortion to an all-out monster fuzz, the TRCD does it all and more! Depending on your set up, the TRCD works equally well through a clean amp as it does pushing an already overdrive amp. The possibilities are endless! With true-bypass switching, you can rest easy in the knowledge that your dry signal will not be affected when the pedal is bypassed!
