The SolidGoldFX Ether Modulated Reverberator is a powerful and versatile reverb, designed to create hauntingly beautiful soundscapes. With ambient and shimmering reverbs in abundance, the Ether applies Vibrato, Tremolo and Harmonic-Tremolo effects to your wet signal. The result is a plethora of eerie and cavernous reverbs with the optional shimmer mode yielding infinite trails.

The Ether is loaded with with three different modulation types, each with three different LFO shapes and Tap Tempo operation. The Vibrato adds a fluidity and washed out chorus flavour to the reverb while the Tremolo can divide things up into subtle waves or chop up your trails for a more percussive decay. The Harmonic-Tremolo adds a lush Push/Pull character that tilts the sonic spectrum between highs and lows, all while sweeping everything in between.

At the heart of the Ether is SolidGold FX's new full-bodied ambient reverb featuring Decay, Colour and Level controls, with an optional Shimmer mode. Most shimmer reverb pedals produce ethereal, angelic soundscapes but the Ether leans towards a more twisted sonic signature! The shimmer algorithm in the Ether actually devolves as it decays, creating a darker, more dissonant sounding reverb. The Decay knob takes you from a confined space to the infinite heavens, while the Colour knob allows you to shape the over all EQ of the reverb. With an extended range on the Level knob, the output of the reverb signal can overtake the dry signal, for those seeking extra colourful effects.
