This is not your standard American Vintage II. It's a UK-exclusive limited run which was available only at Peach Guitars, and it takes the already brilliant AVII '61 Strat platform and pushes it into dream-guitar territory with a raft of custom upgrades that give you Fender Custom Shop vibes for around half the price.
What Makes This Exclusive Model So Special?
- Alder body in Fiesta Red - a timeless vintage-correct colour that just screams early-'60s Fender cool.
- AAA Flame Maple neck - not standard on the regular AVII, this is a premium upgrade that gives you a stunning look and feel straight out of the case.
- Slab Rosewood fingerboard - dark, smooth, and authentic, just like the originals.
- 9.5" radius & Medium Jumbo frets - a modern playability upgrade that makes bending, vibrato, and overall comfort vastly superior to the stock 7.25" radius and Vintage Tall frets.
- Custom Shop Fat '60s pickups - the ultimate Strat set, with period-correct cloth wire and fibre bobbin, delivering sweet, articulate 1960s tones with extra punch, warmth, and sparkle. This is a serious step up from the Pure Vintage '61 pickups.
- Satin Nitro neck finish with gloss headstock face - silky smooth to play with vintage looks intact; again, this makes the neck feel completely different to the Gloss Nitro of the stock model.
- One tone control for middle/neck and one for bridge - far more practical and versatile wiring than the vintage spec.
