A gorgeous example of the Gibson J-30 30s, in its original hardcase. Minor wear and tear throughout. An absolutely gorgeous player.
The Gibson J-35 was first developed in 1936 at a time when the Great Depression was still wreaking havoc across much of America. An evolution of the Jumbo model, Gibson designed the stripped-back J-35 to offer musicians a warm, balanced instrument that didn't cost the earth. The Gibson J-35 30s Faded pays tribute to these much-loved acoustics whilst continuing to inspire a new generation of players.
Sporting a satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish, the J-35 30s Faded has the look and feel of a well-loved vintage instrument. Built on the tried and tested foundation of a Sitka Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides, it has a rich, full-bodied tone that is undeniably vintage. The Mahogany neck has a rounded profile, adding to the vintage feel, and is topped with a silky smooth Rosewood fingerboard. The J-35 comes fitted with a market-leading LR Baggs VTC under saddle pickup for vibrant, natural sounding amplification, with controls for volume and tone hidden inside the soundhole. Other premium appointments include Grover open back tuners, bone nut and a hardshell case.
